Stylish Comfort Shoe Brands

It seems that every day, there are more manufacturers jumping on the comfort bandwagon. Styles are fashionable and trendy, and no one even realizes that they are- gasp! – “comfort shoes”- which used to mean shoes made just for old folks. Consumers today demand shoes that are comfortable and good looking; and they are willing to pay a extra for them.

Here are some brands to check out that you may, or may not, have ever heard about before. They all pride themselves on offering shoes that will make you feel as good as you look:

Orthaheel

Orthaheel offers shoes and inserts designed by a podiatrist to restore your foot’s natural alignment. They are approved by the APMA (American Podiatrist Medical Association) and are especially designed to combat pronation, which is feet rolling over into an unnatural position. Pronation causes stress on knee and hip alignment, and also can cause lower back pain. The company has so much faith in their product that they offer a Walk Pain Free 30-day money back guarantee. If they don’t work out for you, you simply return them within 30 days of purchase and receive all your money back. Orthaheel offers walking shoes and sandals.

Merrell

Merrell Shoes USA offers a wide range of shoes for men, women, and children, almost all of them with air cushion midsoles for comfortable daily wear. For women, most styles offer their trademarked Q-form system for comfort, which allows for a woman’s angles between the hip and knee, and naturally aligns them by combining cushioning and support. The structure of Merrell shoes helps eliminate pain from walking by stabilizing your feet and absorbing shock. Merrell offers sandals, athletic shoes, dress shoes, and boots.

Comfortology

Comfortology shoes feature the patented Insolia® insert built into them. The insert shifts more of your weight back onto your heel, and off the balls of your feet to relieve pressure and fatigue. Heels are made of lightweight polyurethane that act as shock absorbers and take the stress out of your steps. They are made with soft leather uppers and padded Achilles notches for total comfort from day one.

Softspots

Softspots are designed with their exclusive PillowTop™ Technology; which is actually pillow top memory foam that is heat activated so that it forms to the contours of your foot. With Softspots, even shoes with heels feel like you are wearing flats. Softspots also has an amazing variety of styles, sizes, and colors from which to choose.

Naturalizer

Naturalizer was the first brand of women’s shoes, back in 1927, to combine great looks with comfort features. It was actually advertised as “the shoe with the beautiful fit” in the 1940s. Naturalizer shoes still promise styles that are comfortable enough to wear all day, and fresh designs that fit with your lifestyle. Naturalizer also makes Dr. Scholl’s products and some of the Naturalizer shoes feature built-in Dr. Scholl’s massaging gel insoles.

Clarks

Clarks has been around since 1825 in England, and today sells over 35 million pairs of shoes per year. From timeless classics to trendy new boots, shoes, and sandals, Clarks has a wide range of styles for all occasions. Clarks shoes are known for their comfort, with many of the styles having a shock-absorbing EVA foot bed or the Active Air system for under foot cushioning.

When looking for great shoes, keep in mind the length of time you’ll be wearing them in an average day; then buy great looking shoes from any one of these companies that will also feel great!
