The Dansko Margrete is a 2″ heel sandal from the Stapled Clog Collection.
The Margrete has an upper designed from high quality Latigo leather giving the sandal a smooth, tight grain and semi-gloss to transparent finish. The instep collar is padded and roomy to provide a thermoplastic toe box, while reinforcing durability and toe protection. A non-allergenic vegetable tanned leather sock liner wrapped around synthetic foam to absorb and evaporate perspiration.
A protective polyethylene heel aids in walking and provides lateral stability while acting as a natural shoe horn. PVC inner frame provides stability reduces pronation and torque. Polyurethane outsole provides shock absorption and flexibility, and has the ability to withstand surfaces extreme heat and cold on surfaces and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing or walking.
A rocker bottom also aids during walking. The stapled clog outsoles are designed to be slip resistant in a workplace environments where excesses of vegetable oils and animal fats are present. The resistance of the sandals has been tested by SATRA, the world’s leading research and technology organization for the footwear industry. The sandals proudly carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.
