Comfortable Mens Sandals
For over 10 thousand years, men have chosen to wear sandals for either fashion, comfort or protection. Today’s sandals may be constructed from leather, rubber, rope, tatami or even wood. The typical design has a strap that passes between the big and second toe. An additional strap passes over the foot’s arch and wraps around the ankle. Depending on the design it may have a heel but many do not. You will find that comfortable men’s sandals will have some sort of arch support to distribute the weight across the foot.
Comfortable men’s sandals are normally worn during the warmer months of the year so as to allow plenty of air circulation around the foot. This keeps the foot cooler and allows excessive moisture to be removed from the foot area. The air flow reduces the potential for athlete’s foot or can act as a curing mechanism if already infected. Things to note when buying sandals are the ways that the straps are connected to the soles. This is the point of greatest stress and can have the greatest failure rate. Also look at the straps in the area that will be coming in contact with your foot. Be sure that the underside of the straps are smooth and void of rough or sharp edges.
