Dansko Introduces the Professional XP

A big launch day for Dansko!  For those of you who are already familiar with the Dansko brand, you know that their most popular style is the Professional clog.   Over the years, there have been many different color and pattern variations introduced for the Professional clog – mostly meant to dress it up I guess.  But, aside from the introduction of a narrow width Professional, there haven’t been any structural changes – until now…

Dansko has introduced the Professional XP – or Pro XP for short.  This new and improved version of the clog is lighter and of still has the seal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.  But the best feature – at least in our mind – is the removable footbed.  There are so many people these days that have custom orthotics and – while Dansko offers the best arch support around – custom orthotics are still better for your foot, your posture, and your body in general.

Exclusively available at The Walking Company…

Other functional improvements include that slip resistant sole with a tread pattern that quickly disperses those liquids you’ll find if you’re a nurse or a chef (or a sloppy teacher!). The Pro XP exceeds all slip resistance standards as measured by labs for all occupations which require you to wear slip-resistant footwear.

The Professional XP retails at $139.95 and comes in 9 colors during its introduction:

  • Black cabrio
  • Black oiled
  • Black patent
  • Black tooled
  • Brown pull-up
  • Cordovan cabrio
  • Hickory
  • Swirl coffee
  • Swirl red (fun!)

Initially, they are only available from TheWalkingCompany.com.

So if you’re a doctor, nurse, chef, technician, teacher, waitress, or any other professional who spends a majority of their day on their feet, the Pro XP might be just what you need for a more comfortable day on the job.
